I go home to… my beautiful wife, Amber who graciously married me in Feb. of 2002. Some couples use cute nicknames…we call each other “Dude”. In April of 2005 we were blessed with our wonderful son, Gibson Jude. We like to call him weird names like Gilbert, Giblet, Dib, Dilbert, Bear, and Scratchy. We are very excited about our second child due to join us in September of 2006. Oh, we also have a very ferocious guard dog named Delia - she’s a lab/retriever mix…and she will lick you to death.

God’s story, God’s scene, I’m just an extra…but it’s a great scene to be in… I had the pleasure being raised in a home of people who truly loved the Lord. My family made sure that I understood that there was nothing more important than Jesus and that life lived with Him was the best thing going…not the easiest, just the best. I came to know that personally in August of 1993 when for the first time, I realized how horrible it felt to be separate from God. It wasn’t necessarily a sermon or a song that made me see it, but God drawing me to know Him. After that, there was no way I could stay the same. I didn’t fully understand it then, but in His goodness, God made a way for me to know Him…through his son Jesus (John 3:16). He didn’t stop there, He blessed me with His Spirit that leads me to know Him intimately and understand what life really is and what it’s for. (Phil. 2:13) I can’t wait to see what’s coming next (John 14:12).

By day… I am the gathering pastor at Apex Community Church. I love it!
