Today I celebrate 4 great years with my beautiful wife. What a great adventure it has been so far…I love that girl.
In exactly 2 months, Gibson turns 1 yr. old and then in 7 months we’ll be adding treasure #2 to our little chapter of the Wing family.
I am blessed…

I’ve been diggin’ a few new tunes lately…
MuteMath - they have 3 songs from their upcoming CD on myspace…oh so good! I don’t know that I’ve heard creativity in music like this before. I especially like “chaos”. I see big things in this band’s future.
flyleaf - they’re getting pretty good buzz on 103.9 and 97.3…Rob just informed me that they were Christians - I had no clue…but I dig their sound. Heavy music with a girl at the lead spot. Go to their myspace and check out the songs called “so I thought” and “so sick”.
Charlie Hall - his new CD called “Flying into Daybreak” is really good. In the past, I haven’t really liked much of his stuff but this new CD is great! Great lyrically (”…You are breathtaking and breath giving”…”i give myself to be refined in this fire, but Jesus today I’m so tired, come for me…”) and musically it is not so typical. His voice is an acquired taste…but his writing is so much better. I’ve been praisin’ in the car with this disc. Go to his site and watch the video in the bottom corner…you can see what worship leaders really do when they should be practicing.

Amber, next to Jesus, you’re the best person I’ve ever known. I had the pleasure of meeting you almost 8 years ago…I’ve had the even better pleasure of dating you for the last 6 years…and I am so blessed to be able to share life with you now in our 4 year marriage, discovering parenting, continual ministry, and the best friendship I’ve ever experienced. God has done amazing things in you that make you unbelievably attractive to me. You teach me about enduring love, patience, grace, and often times commitment. I thank God for you…more than you’ll ever know…but I’ll try my hardest to make sure you never have to wonder… I love you babe!

what a weekend…I’m exhausted…but it’s that good kind of exhausted…the kind that says “hey, you did a bunch of worth-while stuff”. Let me just state - I love my family so much! I love my ministry! I love my co-laborers! I love my church! Obviously, there’s a lot more…those are just the things on my heart right now.
God, thanks for giving me the privilege to do what I do. I absolutely love it!!! I loved watching Your people praise You this past weekend. Thanks for all the people who put pride and talent on the line just to “possibly” be used in a new way. Thank you so much for the people You’ve allowed me to serve alongside. You show me so much of who You are through them. Thank you for the ways you stretch us to be bigger than we are on our own. You blow me away…
