3 things involving travel…
1. The band and I leave Sunday to do a youth camp, called Velocity, at Kenyon College.
Joel can’t get the time off work so our good buddy Ivan is fillin’ in for him. We’re just excited to be playin’ again. It’s been quite a while.
2. At the end of July, I get the privilege of heading down to Austin, TX with 6 other great guys to attend the National Worship Leader Conference. Ben, Brandon, Joe S., Joe B., Ethan, Neil, and I are going to be road trippin’ it down there…yeah, that’s right, we’re driving to TX…and it’s gonna be fun, dang it! I’m really excited about the opportunity to spend so much time with those guys in such a great learning environment.
3. the last thing regarding travel is…the new summer hit show, Traveler.
This show is badness (in the fullest 80’s sense of the word). I’ll be honest, so far, it’s got my attention just about as much as 24. I know, I know, that’s a bold statement. We’re only a handful of episodes into it, but man, it’s really good. If you’re a fan of movies like Bourne Identity, or Usual Supects - or if you’re a fan of shows like 24, you should go get caught up cause chances are, you’d dig it.
