Well, the last month has been quite a trip!  We launched a website, released a CD, and started writing new songs for our full length album.  It's been great!  Here's a little recap...

The CD release party, "the True Light Art Exhibit", was a blast!  14 local artists displayed their work and I've just got to say, I was extremely impressed.  So many art forms were represented: painting, sculpting, graphic design, fashion design, drawing, writing, and probably a few others that I've missed.  Seriously, this stuff was so good!  Here's one of the displays >>>

We got to play all the songs from the EP as well as some new ones.  The highlight of the night was when we were getting ready to start a new song called "Made Free", we got a note on stage that said "we have a new sister!!!"  Yeah, that's God!  He saves people at an artshow.  :o)  Laney, welcome to the family sister! [hint, hint, you can see Laney in this pic...

Many thanks to the Outpour crew who made it all happen.  Job well done.

Some other decent news - we are officially out of debt!  You may not think that's all that great, but for us, we were blown away to have all of our recording, mastering, duplicating, etc. costs paid off in less than 1 week after the CD released.  Talk about a relief.  We've sold nearly 500 CD's now in the first 2 weeks.  Whoa, crazy!

Be on the lookout for new schedule dates, new pics, and hopefully some new songs coming your way soon.

Phil and the band… I have to say that I was very excited to finally be able to listen to you guys in my car, after all that is the place were I sing the best! All kidding aside, I was moved to tears listening to “this is worship” I’ve sang it a lot, but I was reminded once again the importance of the words, and the true meaning for our lives!! Thank you for responding to who you are!! Keep up the awesome “worship”

Hey, Phil, thanks for putting the chords for your songs on here! I assume this means I can play them at my house church? Looks like I’ll be leading worship there, and I’m so thankful! Now I just need someone to show me how to play F#/Bb and E/G# (”True Light”)! I can barely play F#. I need help.
